The easiest way to get to Carmignano
is:
- From North
(Bologna) - By motorway A1 (direction Rome) when you arrive near Florence take motorway A11 direction Pisa-Nord and get off at the second exit "Prato ovest" following direction Prato - Poggio a Caiano –Be careful with roundabouts !?! When you get to the village of Poggio a Caiano follow the signs (about 4 KM) for
Carmignano.

From Florence Airport-Going towards Florence and get (just out side of the airport) "viadotto dell'Indiano" following signs for Signa - Pistoia.Take the first exit (direction Signa - Pistoia) and, at the first traffic light, turn on the left following direction Signa - Pistoia.Keep on going along that road (it is the statal route 66 --> Pistoia) for about 11 KM until you get the village of Poggio a Caiano.When you get the top of a little slope (the gate of the famous Medici Villa on your right) turn on the left following the signs for Carmignano.Go down the road following signs for about 4 KM .

When you get to Carmignano please phone us (055/87.12.133) and wait in the square (there is a fountain in the middle), we'll arrive in few minutes, or if you prefer go past the village following the main road and go ahead until you get to the sign "Santa Cristina a Mezzana" and make a U turn and go back until you arrive at the sign "Carmignano". Turn right just before the sign and go straight on (the name of the road is "Via degli Asinai") until you find a pink house (on your right). You're arrived !
